DIAL  2 piece porcelain dial with pie crust bezel 12.5" to outside of bezel with no flaws
MOVEMENT one month duration dead beat escapement with maintaining power, center sweep

Walnut heavily carved, transitional style "second baroque between beidermeier and grunderzeit

6 ft 4 inches tall 24 inches at the widest point and 12 inch depth

DESCRIPTION This is an unbelievable example of the very best craftsmanship. Between the mechanics, engraving on the pendulum rod, the cabinetry ... you really just do not find something like this is in this condition very often!! Photos appear lighter than the clock actual is ...
MAKER M. BOB in Triberg

In Jurgen Abeler's index book there is reference to two clockmakers with the name BOB..
He wrote: "Michael Bob worked in Triberg and founded a company (or workshop ??) in 1857, he got a silver medal in 1861, he learned by Lorenz Bob, Lorenz Bob worked in Furtangen ...
