This hanger enables
you to locate your clock where you desire and is not dependent on a stud
or beam for the support of the clocks weight. The bracket is made of
aircraft quality aluminum. The bracket plate is 8 x 5 inches and is
3/16 of an inch thick. It has a stud that is 3/8 of an inch in diameter,
tig welded to the plate. In the kit you will find the hanger itself plus 4
e-z anchor self drilling dry wall anchors which are rated at 50 LBS each.
Three of the anchors are used for the plate and the fourth is used to
secure the bottom of the clock to the wall. It is recommended for use on
1/2 inch or better sheet rock. For older homes with lath and plaster walls
use the screws alone -- no fasteners, locating the lath for security.
These plates come powder coated for durability. |
